Color in glass - glossy or matte - is easily ignited and embraced by light.
The light hollows are proudly taking their spot in this playful sequence of almost classical but very much modern take on adornment.
Blown on the end of a steel pipe, these beads are born in a hot flame from a stationary torch. The beads are annealed and they are sturdy in every way imaginable. They are created of glass, which renders them naturally beautiful and volatile when dropped on hard surfaces.
The sequence contains both glossy and etched beads.
The silver clasp and extension are handmade by me.
This necklace measures 20" long.
